Diamond Grinding
Our crew uses professional-grade diamond grinding equipment to open up the concrete surface at a microscopic level. This step is non-negotiable — it removes surface contaminants, prior coatings, and laitance, creating the mechanical profile required for CycloSpartic™ to bond permanently to your slab. No acid wash, no shortcuts. Grinding is the foundation of every lasting install.
Crack & Joint Repair
After grinding, we address cracks, control joints, and any spalling or divots. Using professional-grade repair compounds, we fill and level damaged areas to create a smooth, uniform substrate. Cracks that are not properly addressed will telegraph through any coating — we eliminate the issue at the source before a single drop of CycloSpartic™ is applied.
CycloSpartic™ Base Coat Application
The first layer of CycloSpartic™ is applied directly to the prepared concrete surface. This proprietary polyurea base coat penetrates into the concrete profile created by grinding, forming a molecular-level bond that standard coatings cannot achieve. It cures rapidly — far faster than epoxy — and serves as the structural foundation for the decorative chip layer and final seal.
Decorative Chip Vinyl Flake Broadcast
While the base coat is still tacky, our installers broadcast your chosen vinyl decorative chip blend across the entire surface. The chips are distributed in a full, even coverage pattern — creating the textured, professional finish you selected from our 40 color options. The chips also serve a functional purpose: adding slip resistance and hiding surface imperfections in the concrete.
CycloSpartic™ Top Coat Seal
The final layer is a clear CycloSpartic™ top coat applied over the chips, locking them permanently in place and sealing the entire surface system. This top coat delivers the UV stability, hot tire resistance, and chemical resistance that makes CycloSpartic™ a lifetime coating. It cures to a high-gloss or satin finish and is ready for foot traffic the same day, full vehicle traffic within 24 hours.
